What We Do With Your Data
The short version: this site collects nothing about you unless you send the audit form, and what you send is used to reply to you and for nothing else. The long version is below, and it describes what the site actually does rather than what a template says.
Who operates this site
GrowthRefactor, a remote studio based in Pakistan, serving local businesses in the United States. For anything in this policy, email info@growthrefactor.com and a person will answer within one business day.
What we collect, and when
Browsing this site collects nothing about you beyond the standard server logs any website keeps. There is no account system, no newsletter signup, and no analytics or advertising trackers running on any page. The fonts and every other asset are served from this site itself, so your visit makes no requests to third parties at all. The cookie notice you may have seen is about the two optional categories described under Cookies below, both of which are off unless you switch them on.
The one moment we collect anything is when you send the free audit form. It asks for your name, your email address, and a phone number, because the audit is a call. It also has two optional fields: your business or website, and a note about what is frustrating you. That is the complete list.
Where a submission goes
Three places, all for the same purpose of replying to you. It is stored as a private lead record in this site’s own database, where only the studio can see it. An email notification is sent to the studio. And it is forwarded to the workflow tool we use to arrange the reply and the call, which is Make.com, acting on our instructions.
The promise printed next to the form holds here in full: your details are used only to reply to you. They are never sold, never rented, never traded, and never added to any marketing list. Sending the form does not subscribe you to anything.
IP addresses
To stop automated abuse, the form counts how many submissions arrive from one connection in an hour. For that count your IP address is hashed, which is a one-way scramble, and only the scramble is kept briefly. Your actual IP address is never stored with your submission.
Cookies
Three, and all of them are boring. After you send the form, a cookie called gr_sent exists for about two minutes so the thank-you message shows once instead of the form re-rendering. gr_consent records the choice you made in the cookie notice so you are not asked again for six months. gr_helper remembers that you closed the quick-answers panel, so it stops opening itself for a month. All three are set by this site, none of them identifies you, and none is readable by anyone else.
There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this site today, and nothing loads from a third party while you read it. The notice still appears because two optional categories exist and are switched off by default: analytics, which would count page views so we can tell which guides are worth writing more of, and embedded media and advertising, which would let a demo video load from whatever service hosts it. Until you allow a category, the scripts and embeds behind it are inert markup: the request is never made, so there is nothing to opt out of after the fact.
Refusing costs you nothing. Every page, the guides, and the audit form work identically either way, and refusing is one button in the same place as accepting. If you refuse the media category, an embed is replaced by a plain link you can open yourself, on that service’s terms rather than ours.
You can change your mind at any time: open the cookie settings, or use the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. If we ever add a cookie that is not on this list, the notice reappears and asks again rather than assuming your old answer covers it.
How long we keep it
Lead records are kept as long as they are needed to handle your request and the conversation that follows it. If nothing comes of it, they are cleared out rather than hoarded.
Your choices
Email info@growthrefactor.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely, whichever you ask for. There is no form to fill in and no verification maze; the reply comes from a person.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with data changes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly widen what we collect and leave the policy describing the old behavior.
