Marketing Services for Local Businesses, Wired Together

Twelve services, three of them things we go deep on. They are built to work as one system rather than as separate line items, which is the whole reason they sit on one page. Start with the pillar matching your biggest gap, or use the guide below to work out which one that is.

// In short

What Services Does GrowthRefactor Offer?

Twelve marketing and software services for local businesses in the United States. Three are pillars we go deep on: social media marketing, SEO, and custom software. The other nine support them, and marketing automation is the wiring that connects the lot.

They are sold separately and built to connect. The lead an ad wins is caught by the automation, the page it lands on is one we built, and the job it turns into is run by the software. Which one you should start with depends on where your own system leaks, which is what the guide further down is for and what a free audit works out for you.

// The three pillars

What We Go Deep On

Three services with a full page each, because these are the ones where the technical depth actually changes the result rather than just the invoice.

Social Media Marketing & Management

Planned, posted, and managed for you using your real jobs and reviews, so the feed looks busy and trusted at the moment someone decides whether to call.

  • A posting plan built from work you actually did, not stock images
  • Replies and comments handled, because an unanswered question is a lost job
  • The reviews you earn put back in front of the people deciding

SEO

Engineer-led search work: Core Web Vitals fixed in the code rather than in a plugin, schema, local search, and visibility inside AI answers.

  • Technical fixes made in the theme, so they survive the next update
  • Local search and the map pack, where most service calls begin
  • No ranking promises, because nobody can honestly make one

Custom Software

Scheduling, quoting, invoicing, reporting, and the API integrations between tools that will not talk, built around how you actually run jobs and owned by you.

  • Web apps, integrations, and internal tools, in that order of size
  • Your repository, your hosting, your data, exportable on demand
  • We tell you when to buy off the shelf instead, and often do

And the Rest of the Toolkit

The services that feed the three pillars. Each one has its own page, and none of them is sold as an island that ignores the rest.

Marketing Automation

Never miss a lead: missed-call text-back, follow-up, and review requests.

Website Design

Fast sites that book jobs.

Google Ads

Clicks wired to a system that catches them.

Facebook Ads

Local demand, followed up instantly.

YouTube Ads

Short local video that builds trust.

Google Business Profile

Win the map pack and the reviews.

Branding & Graphic Design

Look the part without overspending.

Reputation Management

More reviews, handled automatically.

Content Creation

Pages that answer what customers search.

// Where to start

Which Service Should You Start With?

Usually not the one you came for. These are the four complaints we hear most, and where each one actually points. Work out which describes you and you have picked your starting service without speaking to anybody.

1

Nobody is finding us

You are not in the results, or not in the map. That is SEO and Google Business Profile, in that order if the site is slow and the other order if it is not.

Slowest to pay back of the four, and the one worth starting earliest for exactly that reason.

2

They find us and do not call

Traffic arrives and nothing happens. That is the site doing the losing: website design, and sometimes how the business looks before anyone decides to trust it.

Check your own site on a phone on mobile data first. It is usually obvious.

3

They call and we lose them anyway

The call comes in while you are on a job and nobody rings back until tomorrow. That is marketing automation, and it is the cheapest fix on this page.

You can watch missed-call text-back fire on your own number before you pay for it.

4

We win the work and the admin eats us

The jobs are there and the spreadsheet has run out. That is custom software, and it is the one we most often talk people out of.

Four questions on that page will tell you whether to build, for free and without us.

If two of those describe you, start with the later one. Catching the leads you already get is cheaper than winning new ones, which is why we fix the machine before we touch the ads. If none of them do, say so on the audit and we will tell you honestly that there is nothing here for you yet.

// One system

How the Services Wire Together

A local business loses work at four points, and most agencies only sell you the first one. This is the order the parts run in, and why buying one without the next usually disappoints.

1

Get found

SEO, Google Business Profile, social media, and the ads that buy the attention you have not earned yet.

2

Get chosen

A fast site that loads on a phone in a driveway, looking like a business worth calling, with the reviews to back it.

3

Get caught

Marketing automation: the missed call texted back, the quote followed up, the booking confirmed without anybody remembering to.

4

Get done

Custom software for the part after the sale: scheduling it, running it, invoicing it, and knowing what happened.

Nobody needs all four at once, and we will not sell you all four at once. The point of listing them in order is that it shows you where the next pound is worth spending, which is usually one step later than people expect.

// FAQ

Services FAQ

Do I have to buy all of them?

No, and almost nobody does. Each service is its own engagement with its own scope, and most businesses start with one. The reason they are listed together is that they hand off to each other, so knowing what the next one would be stops you paying for something whose value leaks straight back out. If you only ever buy one, that is a fine outcome.

Where should a local business start?

With whichever of the four complaints above sounds like your week. If more than one does, start with the later one: catching leads you already get is cheaper and faster than winning new ones, which is why we fix the machine before the ads. On a free audit we work this out with you and say which single service to start with, including when the answer is none of them yet.

Do you publish pricing?

No, on purpose. A number quoted before anyone has looked at your site, your call flow or your process is a number that will change, and a price list would only tell you what the average client pays rather than what your job costs. Scope comes first, then a fixed quote against it. The free audit costs nothing and there is no obligation on the other side of it.

What is the free audit, and what do I get?

One message from you, a call, and a written list of what is leaking in the site, the call flow, and the follow-up. It is yours either way: no obligation, and nothing switched on without you asking. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, that is what the list will say.

Do you work outside the United States?

The studio is remote and the work is done remotely, so there is no office visit to arrange and no travel to pay for. The services are built around United States local businesses in particular: the map pack, A2P 10DLC registration for business texting, and the way American customers search for a trade. That focus is deliberate, and it is why we would rather say so than take work we would be learning on.

Who actually does the work?

The person who takes your brief. There is no account manager relaying messages to a team you never meet, and the work is not handed to a subcontractor once the contract is signed. That is the honest advantage of a small studio, and it is also why we turn down projects that do not fit: we cannot staff our way around a bad match. You can read more about how the studio works.

Do you guarantee rankings or a number of leads?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google, and a lead count depends on your prices, your area and your competitors as much as on anything we do. What we will do is tell you what we are changing and why, show you the work, and describe what it removes from your week. Anyone putting a number on the rest has not seen your books.
